This is scary for me to share this. This is an unfinished painting but I'm seeing what comments I get on it. I went to Canvas 'n Corks with a group to paint a few months ago. We all painted a sunset and I hated mine. So I came home and painted over the entire canvas in brown and am trying to paint a huge painting of a grouping of three pears that I saw in the magazine art.com. I need to work on the pear in the back. The shape really doesn't look like a pear although I do like the colors in it. The painting is done in acrylics.

This is beautiful! I love that you weren't afraid to just paint over the picture you didn't like and redo it. It doesn't bother me that the pears are not "pear shape". I wouldn't have thought anything of it until you mentioned it!
I think this a really great painting. Don't be so hard on yourself. You are a terrific artist.
